We Are Hiring
E-commerce Migrations & Integrations Specialists

Migration specialists help customers transition to Freemius seamlessly from other eCommerce platforms.

Freemius is a SaaS startup that helps WordPress plugin & theme developers around the globe accept payments, manage subscriptions, license software, obtain user-data, offer trials and (much) more.

Join our growing distributed team and make an impact on millions of users. We are passionate about the open-source community and about helping developers around the world build prosperous, subscription-based businesses while working on things they love!

As Freemius grows, we get larger businesses migrating to our platform from competing solutions like EDD and WooCommerce. Typically, the larger the business, the more sophisticated the setup, meaning the transfer process can be somewhat complex. We know that the first impression with our customers is critical, and we strongly believe in providing “red carpet” service in the onboarding process. Therefore, we offer migration support at no cost for large customers.

In order to meet this demand, we’re looking for a customer facing remote back-end developer located in Europe (or that can work during European business hours) to join Freemius’ development team. If you love ❤️️ coding and interacting with customers, have solid experience customizing or building plugins for EDD or WooCommerce, we want to hear from you. Besides being really smart, autonomous, and a PHP Ninja, you also need to be a good team player.

The job opportunity is unique since we are still a relatively small team with a large customer base, so there’s a lot of room to grow.

Ownership, Not Just Accountability

If you see yourself working just as a means to get a salary, we totally respect
that, but it’s not the type of mentality we seek. On the other hand, if your
spouse/friends keep telling you that you have to stop caring so much about
your work and your answer is “this project is my baby” that’s the exact sense
of ownership we are looking for.

Remote Work

Since the work is remote, trust and communication are key. If we don’t trust each other or have poor communication, the relationship is pointless. We are using Slack for day-to-day communications between team members and have weekly Skype meetings for catching up. Oh, we also have a weekly online team chess tournament. Yes, we are those kind of geeks 🤓

What You Will Be Doing

You will be part of the development team for our eCommerce platform used by thousands of plugin and theme developers, and millions of WordPress admins on a monthly basis.

Your tasks will span from communicating with customers to developing new migration capabilities. Here’s a more complete overview:

In addition, you will interact with our support team to help troubleshoot & resolve customer issues, and communicate with other team members for knowledge sharing and product development.
