We’re looking for an outstanding remote ReactJS developer that can work during European timezone hours to join Freemius’ development team and lead a new flagship project of our company. If you love ❤️️coding, fluent in scalable software architecture and API driven web apps, we want to hear from you. Besides being really smart, autonomous and a React expert, you need to be a good team player.

The job opportunity is unique since you’ll have the opportunity to build a product from the grounds up (no legacy code) using all the modern technologies and frameworks 🙂 Plus, we are still a relatively small team with a large customer base, so there’s a lot of room to grow.

What You Will Be Doing

You will join our development team leading an exciting new flagship project in the open-source eCommerce space. Your tasks will span from software architecture and design, creating mockups and working with the designer, integrating with our API, to implementing new features, expecting that new and changed code is well documented and tested thoroughly.

On a later stage of the project, you will conduct ongoing code reviews for other developers in our team (we all do it, and it makes us all better devs), interact with our support team to help troubleshooting & resolving customer issues, and communicate with other team members for knowledge sharing and product work.

Who Are We Looking For

Excellent verbal and written English
Easy to communicate with - you're good in expressing your thoughts in writing
Organized and methodological
Comfortable working remotely during European timezone hours (9-6 GMT+2)
A quick learner
3+ years experience working as a ReactJS developer
1+ years experience with SSR (Server Side Rendering)
5+ years experience working as a backend developer
A comprehensive understanding of what it takes to write secure and performant code
Excellent understanding of OOP
Hard worker and passionate - we are a startup with big goals 😉
