Release notes: Full Freemius integration for Lovable, volume discount visibility, and dozens of improvements

March’s release opens a door. The Lovable integration brings Freemius monetization to a new generation of makers building with AI. Anyone with an idea can now go from vibe coding to selling in a single prompt.

Better visibility into earnings, a tighter email system, and a steady stream of improvements across checkout, the Customer Portal, and the Developer Dashboard keep the platform sharp for everyone already using it.

Lovable integration: Full Freemius monetization with a single prompt

Every new app and SaaS project seems to start the same way these days — an idea, an AI platform, and a working product in hours.

Lovable is where a lot of that building is happening and the demand from its communities has been consistent: a simple way to start selling without a separate integration to untangle.

Our answer is an end-to-end Freemius integration guide for Lovable that works with a single prompt to your AI agent.

One instruction sets up the complete monetization layer.

1. Integrated pricing page and checkout, configured from your Freemius dashboard:

2. Feature gating. Users without an active plan are blocked at the feature level:

3. In-app accounts page showing active subscriptions and payments, linked to the Customer Portal:

If you’re building on Bolt or another AI-assisted platform, we want to know. The next integration will follow demand.

Volume discount now visible in reverse invoice and payout emails

Freemius offers volume-based growth pricing: the more you earn, the lower your revenue share, down to as little as 0.5% once monthly gross sales exceed $50,000.

The discount has always been applied automatically during the monthly payout, but makers had no clear view of it — only a breakdown of separate pieces with no visibility into the actual savings.

The reverse invoice and payout email now display the volume discount applied to each payout.

The reverse invoice shows it as a line item in the payout breakdown, and the payout email highlights the exact discount received alongside a note that frames it in the context of growth — the more you earn, the more you save.

The headliners get the attention, but these smaller updates across emails, checkout, the Customer Portal, the Developer Dashboard, and the API are what keep the platform solid underneath.

A good door needs a good room

Opening the door to new makers only matters if the experience on the other side holds up. A first impression built on a broken checkout, a confusing email, or an invoice that doesn’t add up is harder to recover from than never having opened the door at all.

That’s what the rest of this month’s work is about. The email improvements, the checkout fixes, the Customer Portal refinements matter to every maker on the platform — not just the ones arriving for the first time. None of it is glamorous, but all of it is load-bearing. The platform everyone works with today is better than the one that existed a month ago.

Building what comes next starts with knowing what you’re running into or what you want to see happening — so don’t be shy.
